Motivation from rasheedogunlaru

“Be genuinely interested in everyone you meet and everyone you meet will be genuinely interested in you.” – Rasheed Ogunlaru. This is pretty much a universal truth. There will be exceptions of those unable, unwilling and unready. It’s so important to remember that we are interconnected, interrelated and interdependent. As I put it “we are one at the root – we just part at the branch”. Everything in life is about relationships. Your success, fulfilment, goals, desires, hopes wishes are dependent on how willing and ready you are to play your part in the jigsaw of life and to be ready to find those pieces that fit, relate, connect and that can co-facilitate. Today I’m running my monthly Networking for Success workshop at the @britishlibrary for aspiring and established entrepreneurs and professionals. Much of that workshop / seminar is about this quote: first being clear and authentic about who you are, what you are about and where you are going. Then crucially being genuinely interested in others. How can you help them? I see so many aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals stuck because either they are purely caught up in what they want and blind to others needs – or those afraid to reach out and utilise their network, ask those they already know for help and then to help each other grow. It is why the middle 2 chapters in my book Soul Trader are Co-operation and Conversations. It is from cooperation and rich conversations that possibilities flourish. As a coach I go into businesses and organisations and swiftly see how rich, kind and mindful the cooperation and conversations are or are not. There is not one aspect of our personal, social or working lives that would not be enriched by this mindfulness. #quoteoftheday #motivationalquotes #inspirationalquotes #relationships #compassion #success #teamwork #fulfilment #goals #cooperation #teambuilding #networking #networkingforsuccess #rasheedogunlaru #motivationalspeaker #lifecoach #business #businesscoach #influence #motivation #meetingpeople #humancondition
